OUR STORY
Part of the Camphill community
Simeon Care is one of the independent charities within the worldwide Camphill Movement and one of five Camphill organisations in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
Camphill communities are based on a shared ethos of mutual support, where every person is valued for their individual contribution to community life.
Simeon is located within the grounds of Cairnlee Estate in Bieldside, Aberdeen, offering a peaceful setting surrounded by green space.
OUR HOME
Purpose-built for comfort
We provide nursing, dementia and end-of-life care for 23 residents in a purpose-built residential home designed to support comfort, safety and familiarity in later life.
The home includes private en-suite bedrooms alongside shared dining and living spaces, encouraging both privacy and community in daily life.
Residents also benefit from enclosed, dementia-friendly gardens that allow safe and accessible outdoor space throughout the year.

OUR PEOPLE
Dedicated people with a shared purpose
Around 60 employees work across care, housekeeping, administration and maintenance, supporting both residents and the wider running of the home.
Simeon is overseen by a board of trustees as a registered charity, helping to guide its long-term direction and ensure its values are upheld.
OUR APPROACH
Caring for the whole person
Alongside skilled nursing care, Simeon takes a holistic approach that includes anthroposophical medicine.
This supports each person as a whole, recognising that wellbeing is shaped not only by clinical needs but by identity, rhythm of life and personal comfort.
At Simeon, the aim is to provide a stable, respectful and supportive environment where older people can live with dignity, connection and peace.
