MEET THE TEAM
Generous staffing levels and commitment to training means there is time and skills to provide excellent person-centred care.
Our staff build positive, meaningful relationships with residents and we aim to provide all older people with security, continuity, belonging, purpose, and fulfilment.
Our team is led by:
-
Jen McAughtrie - General Manager
-
Peter John - Operations Lead
-
Lara Verlegh - Clinical Lead
In addition, we have a team of highly qualified Registered nurses and care staff to support residents and their families in all areas.
We are also very lucky to have an International Volunteers who come from all over the world for a period of 6-12 months to support our residents and experience life in a Camphill community.
Additionally, we have Volunteer Befrienders, generally from the local area who love to come and spend time at Simeon. Our befrienders provide companionship, support, and assist residents to join in activities.
All employees have full PVG checks and registered with Scottish Social Service Council.
