Chef Vacancy - Part Time (29 hours per week)

We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team in creating delicious culinary experiences. The successful candidate will oversee food preparation, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure high quality food production for residents and staff within the care home.

- Plan and direct food preparation, ensuring high quality and timely delivery
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Maintain food safety standards and practices in compliance with regulations
- Manage inventory and control food costs effectively
- Create innovative menus that meet customers' preferences and seasonal availability
- Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for enhancing the dining experience

- Proficient in culinary techniques and food preparation
- Experience working in a care home environment, demonstrating a passion for cooking and producing high quality meals and home    bakes.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent organisational skills to manage kitchen operations efficiently
- Demonstrated leadership qualities to inspire teamwork and maintain a positive work environment
