We believe that it’s important our future residents, existing residents, and their loved ones have access to all information they require about our care home, therefore no matter how small or unimportant you believe your question is, we welcome you contact us.

Can I bring my own furniture and personal items?

All our residents are encouraged to bring their own small furniture and personal belongings. We want our resident’s room to feel as comfortable and homely as possible.

What food is provided at Simeon Care?

We offer a choice of dishes daily and our food menu varies week to week. Our fresh food is locally sourced, and we use organic produce whenever possible.

We cater for many dietary requirements, including gluten free, lactose free, diabetic and vegetarian. Residents can chat with our on-duty chef to discuss preferences and will do their best to meet your requirements.

Are newspapers delivered?

Yes - We can arrange for you to have a newspaper delivered daily from the local newsagent.

When can my family and friends visit?

There are no restrictions on visiting times, but some times of day are better for you than others. Visitors are welcome to join us for lunch or dinner with prior arrangement and we welcome your loved ones to join in with our many activities and celebrations throughout the year.

Are there activities on offer?

We have a dedicated Activities Leader who plans regular events and entertainment. Activities may include, light physical exercise, reminiscence style activities, musical performances, or cognitive activities like gardening and baking.

We have many celebrations throughout the year, including Christmas, St Andrews Day, Halloween, Valentines, Easter to name just a few!

​

We have transport available for short trips to shops, cafes and activities in the local area.

How will all my Care needs be met?

We make sure that all residents receive the highest standard of care possible. We have a highly trained team who deliver specialist care and nursing to support your requirements.

Our personalised Care plans take into consideration your medical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

We aim to improve the health and wellbeing of our residents by using a holistic approach, incorporating anthroposophical techniques and knowledge.
