Jen McAughtrie
General Manager
Jen has more than 30 years' experience in the social care sector across Scotland and Australia.
As General Manager, she leads Simeon Care's strategy, governance and day-to-day operations, ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred care in a welcoming and compassionate environment.
Peter John
Operations Lead
Having been part of Simeon Care since 2004, Peter leads the day-to-day operation of the home.
With a background in care and leadership, he works closely with residents, families and staff to ensure a safe, supportive and person-centred environment.
Lara Verlegh
Clinical Lead
Lara has been part of Simeon Care for over 12 years, joining as a newly qualified nurse before progressing to Clinical Lead.
She supports the nursing team and helps ensure high standards of care, while maintaining the personal connections with residents that make Simeon feel like home.
Jillian Birnie
Home Administrator
Jillian joined Simeon Care in 2023, bringing experience from the care sector alongside a varied background in administration, HR and training.
She plays an important role in supporting residents, families and staff, helping create a welcoming and well-organised home environment.
Melissa Steven
Finance Controller
Having been part of Simeon Care since 2004, Peter leads the day-to-day operation of the home.
With a background in care and leadership, he works closely with residents, families and staff to ensure a safe, supportive and person-centred environment.
Carol Dyer
Finance Assistant
Carol joined Simeon Care in 2024, bringing extensive finance experience from her career within the Oil & Gas industry.
She supports the team with financial administration, helping to ensure the continued smooth and effective running of the home.
